First Snow of the Year.

It won't last the day, but it's pretty. Ought to be cold and crisp on our camping trip in northern Minnesota next weekend. I am so excited. I hope we have weather just like this 50°F high temperature today.

Do you see Pearl, our Greyhound in the doorway. The other dog, Marko, not shown, is not so impressed with the snow. This dog, Pearl, is from Texas. She is impressed by snow, even this little bit. Me too. Pretty day.

  1. Ahh, I have the feeling I am flying into this type of unpredictable type of weather. From here it is going to be a little shocking. but no matter, it is pretty indeed.

  4. Next weekend I will be in northern Minnesota, in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA), camping, canoeing, and drawing for three days and three nights. It's not Greece, or France for that matter, but adventures are good. No? I hope the weather is just like this, a little sun and not too cold. I will post drawings. Going to initiate the huge watercolor moly. Wish me luck.

  6. Oh, beautiful! I think I'm with Pearl, snow excites me. I had a plenty in my motherland and it's kind of nostalgia for me now. We still going to the beach here. Ha!
